According to a recent report by Kantar Worldpanel, Google’s Android OS is becoming even more popular in Europe, and has apparently grabbed around a 70 percent share of the smartphone market in Europe.
The report says that Apple’s iOS has only a 17.8 percent share of the market, and in third place is Microsoft’s Windows Phone which has a 6.8 share of the market.
In the US Android has around a 52% share of the smartphone market, Apple’s iOS has a 41.9 percent share, and Microsoft’s Windows Phone has around a 4.6 percent share.
