We all like to stand out from the crowd and for some people that means a shiny gold smartphone. Or some limited edition gem encrusted thing. Well, if you are on the lookout for either the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 or the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, you are in luck if you like gold.
The folks over at the Karalux Store would be more than happy to sell you them in gold .
The process is not easy. Their engineers will have to go through a 10-step process in order to take the handsets apart. That is a hard procedure. These 7000 series aluminum are 60% stronger and lighter than stainless steel, and after gold plating them, a protective layer is placed on top. The entire gold plating process would cost you $355 and if you would like to get the handset gold plated right from the start, it will set you back $1,110.
That’s a drop in the bucket if you are used to rocking gold smartphones. If not, well if you want to stick out from the crowd it will cost you. But at least you will be able to brag and look important. Hopefully you have a bodyguard so someone doesn’t try to steal it.
