Model makers, hobbyists and anyone else that uses glue on a regular basis maybe interested in a new version of the micro glue applicator which takes the form of the new Glue Looper version 3.
As you probably already know it’s always difficult to use glue straight from the tube but the Glue Looper has been specially designed to help apply glue to small parts without making a mess and getting glue all over your project.
Watch the video below to learn more about how the small handheld tool can help you control where the glue is applied with ease. Its developers explain a little more :
We’ve created a micro fluid applicator made for applying a VERY small amount of LOW VISCOSITY (i.e. – very thin) glue where you want it to go with very little or no trace of the glue. It uses capillary action with low viscosity CA (cyanoacrylic) glue or low viscosity model cement. It will capture and hold ANY LOW VISCOSITY liquid. It fits in any standard hobby knife handle that uses a flat clamping front vise, can be used and reused for multiple glue applications.
We are working on the third iteration (v3) which will be specifically designed for MEDIUM and THICK (HIGH VISCOSITY) liquids. It will have similar functioning characteristics when compared to our current (v2) model. We are looking for $5000 for research/development, prototyping, packaging cost and first initial production tooling.
