If you are interested in benchmark testing the latest smartphones and tablets to check their performance you are sure to be interested to learn that the highly anticipated GFXBench 3.0 benchmarking software has now launched for Android.
As well as launching their GFXBench 3.0 benchmarking software for Android devices, Kishonti Ltd developers of the software have also announced they are currently developing versions for iOS, Mac OS, Windows 8, Windows Phone 8 and Windows RT, which they hope to launch very soon.
New features included in the latest GFXBench 3.0 benchmarking software include a scene of Manhattan which provides a graphical intensive test for even the latest devices and takes advantage of OpenGL ES 3’s capabilities. Kishonti Ltd explains in their press release:
“The convergence of handheld and desktop GPU performance and the intense competition in the semiconductor and consumer electronics market have made it necessary to go beyond simple graphics performance measurement and develop additional tests for power consumption, performance stability and render quality.”
GFXBench 3.0 is now available to download from the Google Play applications for and comes complete with a new battery and stability test that allows you to compare devices with ease.
