Telltale Games announced back in 2013 that it had partnered with HBO to create an episodic game series for Game of Thrones. In fact, the first season of this episodic series was released earlier this year. And now Telltale has confirmed that there’s going to be a second season of the episodic series. It will be available next year.
This has got to be good news for fans of the game. It’s pretty popular. Co-founder and CEO of Telltale Games Kevin Bruner told The Hollywood Reporter that it has always been a multi-title and multiyear partnership with HBO so a second season was never out of the question.
Bruner confirmed that Telltale is officially announcing that there will be a second season of the Game of Thrones series. In fact it is currently in development as I type this. The Ice Dragon, the finale of the first season, raised many questions that need to be answered, so it is good to know that answers will be coming in the second season.
Bruner says that the fate of House Forrester is interesting. It has a larger story that’s going to play out. The choices you made in season one will set the stage for what’s coming. It should be very interesting.
