Fujitsu has today taken the wraps off two new systems in the form of the Lifebook UH90 ultrabook and desktop all-in-one Esprimo FH78 pictured below.
The Esprimo FH78 has been equipped with a Haswell processor and sports a 2.4GHz Core i7 together with a 23-inch display and a 2.1-channel Pioneer speaker system.
Esprimo FH78: A Powerhouse for Home Entertainment
The Esprimo FH78 is designed to be a powerhouse for home entertainment and productivity. The 23-inch display offers a full HD resolution, making it perfect for watching movies, playing games, or even working on graphic-intensive projects. The integration of the 2.1-channel Pioneer speaker system ensures that users get an immersive audio experience, whether they are watching a blockbuster movie or listening to their favorite music. The Haswell processor, known for its efficiency and performance, ensures that the system can handle multiple tasks simultaneously without any lag.
Moreover, the Esprimo FH78 comes with a variety of connectivity options, including USB 3.0 ports, HDMI output, and an SD card reader, making it versatile for various peripheral devices. The sleek design and powerful hardware make it an ideal choice for users looking for a robust desktop solution that doesn’t compromise on style or performance.
Fujitsu Lifebook UH90: Ultra-Thin and Ultra-Powerful
The Fujitsu Lifebook UH90 ultrabook is super thin and is fitted with a touchscreen wide-format IGZO 14-inch liquid crystal display, which provides an ultra-high 3200 x 1800 pixel resolution. This high resolution ensures that images and text are incredibly sharp, making it ideal for tasks that require detailed visuals, such as photo editing or watching high-definition videos.
The Lifebook UH90 is powered by a 4th-Generation Intel Core i5-4200U processor, which balances performance and energy efficiency. This makes the ultrabook not only powerful but also capable of lasting longer on a single charge, which is crucial for users who are always on the go. The ultrabook’s slim profile and lightweight design make it easy to carry around, whether you’re heading to a meeting or working from a café.
In addition to its impressive hardware, the Lifebook UH90 also features a robust set of connectivity options, including USB 3.0 ports, HDMI output, and a microSD card slot. This ensures that users can easily connect their devices and transfer data without any hassle.
Both models will be available in Japan from June 7th, 2013 onwards. However, no information on worldwide availability has been announced as yet by Fujitsu. Fujitsu also explained in today’s press release that:
“The Fujitsu My Cloud service for personal computers has also been newly updated with enhanced functionality. In addition to functionality that enables users to enjoy television programs they have recorded and saved from home on the go via a smartphone, the cloud-based service now supports turning on home air conditioners remotely. Moving forward, Fujitsu plans to continue enhancing the cloud service to deliver new ways for users to enjoy their PCs through My Cloud.”
The updated Fujitsu My Cloud service represents a significant step forward in integrating smart home technology with personal computing. The ability to control home appliances like air conditioners remotely adds a layer of convenience and energy efficiency, allowing users to manage their home environment even when they are not physically present. This feature is particularly useful for those who travel frequently or have irregular schedules.
In conclusion, Fujitsu’s new offerings, the Esprimo FH78 and the Lifebook UH90, are set to make a significant impact in their respective categories. The Esprimo FH78 is a robust desktop solution perfect for home entertainment and productivity, while the Lifebook UH90 offers a powerful, portable computing experience with its ultra-thin design and high-resolution display.
