The other day Nintendo announced a Fortnite Battle Royale Switch bundle, which includes the console, 1,000 V-Bucks (in-game currency used by Fortnite), and also some in-game items like unique character outfits, glider, pickaxe, and back bling. If you are a non-Switch gamer who is feeling a bit left out, no worries, Microsoft has announced their own bundle.
An Xbox One S Fortnite bundle has been announced in a tweet by Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb. This will offer pretty much what Nintendo’s bundle offers, except Microsoft’s bundle will come with a little bit more, like 2,000 V-Bucks. Hryb also teased additional in-game DLC which wasn’t detailed, but it may have something to do with the robotic costume you can see on the front of the box.
We don’t have any info about pricing just yet, but presumably, it will cost around $300 which is the price of the Xbox One S without a game, since Fortnite is a free game. No info on a launch date yet either. Just like the Nintendo Switch Fortnite bundle, this will just be the regular Xbox One S in white with 1TB of storage space. No special skins or anything. Fortnite fans now have their choice of bundles.
