The British audio equipment manufacturer Focusrite has this week unveiled a new addition to their range in the form of the Forte audio interface.
The Forte has been designed to be Focusrite’s new flagship portable audio interface, and includes the latest in digital conversion technologies, says Focusrite. Watch the video after the jump to learn more about the Focusrite Forte and see it in action.
“Focusrite Forte is a professional 2 in, 4 out portable USB audio interface for Mac and Windows, designed to deliver analogue sources to your DAW at the highest possible quality. It features two remote-controlled mic preamps with the unrivalled sound quality you would expect from Focusrite.”
The Forte is equipped with a colour OLED screen, together with multi-function touch icons, and scroll wheel with DAW control functions.Other features of the Forte include 4 x output USB 2.0 audio interface for Mac and PC, together with a mic preamp with 75dB gain range (0-75dB) performance, as well as real world ADC (117dB A-weighted) and DAC (118dB A-weighted).
The Focusrite Forte will be available to purchase from October onwards for around $600 or £399.
