Move over angry birds, the addictive new bird game of choice is Flappy Birds, will soon arrive on your Windows Phone device, after appearing on Android last week.
As you probably know by now, it is an endless runner game, where you tap the screen to nudge a bird into the air and make it “flap” through obstacles. The game has retro-styled graphics, a bird that is hard to control, and a very addictive nature. The developer took to Twitter recently and responded to several fan questions. One of the answers was that he will make the game available on the Windows Phone platform, so those users can get in on the action.
He says that Flappy Bird is arriving to Windows Phone ‘in 10 days’. Dong Nguyen says that that timeframe is because he is updating his iOS apps, but the Flappy Birds WP port is next on his list. He expects to see it in the Windows Store in about ten days, as the game first has to go through Microsoft’s approval process. That should not take very long, so in about 10 days or so you can be playing the game.
