The news back in October was that Square Enix would reissue their classic game Final Fantasy VI. Indeed it looks like the game developer is working on releasing all of its Final Fantasy games for the popular mobile platforms. And many think that FFVI is the best game in the series so far, so its release is highly anticipated by many gamers. We have all been waiting for it.
Well, it looks like Square Enix has decided to tease us a bit and make us squirm. They have released the first screenshots from the upcoming mobile version of FF VI and it looks like the graphics of the upcoming iOS/Android title have been enhanced in comparison to the original version. The images are of smooth and vivid graphics, which are very eye pleasing, but also a bit odd since we are not used to it. We have only ever seen the pixelated look of the original SNES version.
There is no official info about the release date yet, but hopefully the iOS and Android versions should be out by the end of the year. We are just going to have to wait and see. At least we know it is coming.
