Microsoft has confirmed the first Forza Horizon 3 expansion called Blizzard Mountain. The expansion brings snow, ice, extreme elevations and blizzards that will put players through to the test as they try to become the King of the Mountain. This is a first for the series.
Locations in the expansion are extreme alpine settings and players can explore a snowy mountain environment with eight new cars that have been designed specifically for mountain racing. This is going to be fun.
The new King of the Mountain challenge allows players to compete in a series of exciting events as they strive to achieve the title. You get access to over 50 new events and challenges with brand new race types like Descent, Hill Climb, and Rivals. There are also 28 new Xbox Live Achievements worth 500 Gamerscore points.
New vehicles include the 2016 Ford GYMKHANA 9 Focus RS RX, the 2016 Nissan Titan Warrior Concept, classic rally cars, and more. You can choose snow tire upgrades for all cars in Forza Horizon 3 to prepare them for this new challenge as well. It is available as part of the Forza Horizon 3 Expansion Pass which costs $34.99. Standalone pricing is unknown at this time. Blizzard Mountain expansion will be released on December 13th for Xbox One and PC. See ya in the snow.
