Following on from the allegedly leaked Wii U prices which surfaced earlier this month, details of the final hardware specifications for Nintendo’s Wii U gaming console have also now been leaked by the VGLeaks website.
The Wii U leaked specifications reveal that Nintendo has equipped their new gaming console with an “Espresso” CPU with three enhanced Broadway cores, together with a “GPU7” AMD Radeon-based High Definition GPU, and Unique API = GX2, support by 1GB of RAM.
The Wii U graphic chip also supports Shader Model 4.0 (DirectX 10.1 and OpenGL 3.3 equivalent functionality). Other features include 8GB of internal memory with support for SD Cards up to 32GB in size, together with support for externally connected USB Hard Drives.
Video outputs also leaked support 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 480p and 480i, with 4 x USB 2.0 ports, and support for HDMI, Wii D-Terminal, Wii Component Video, Wii RGB, Wii S-Video Stereo AV and Wii AV.
Remember at the moment Nintendo has not officially released any specifications, and these are leaked WiiU hardware specifications. As soon as more information is leaked or officially announced by Nintendo regards their Wii U games console we will keep you updated.
