You see less and less phones these days with physical keyboards. Is there still a market for phones with QWERTY keyboards? BlackBerry seems to think so. And apparently LG still thinks there’s a market for it as well. Hopefully enough customers agree.
Back in 2013 the LG Optimus G3Q was leaked and if we can believe the rumors, should see a release on T-Mobile on the 22nd of January. And now thanks to a leak by none other than @evleaks, we have a new photo of the handset and a claim that this is the final design that will be arriving on T-Mobile’s network. The difference in design is mostly in the keyboard. The previous image showed flatter keys, while the new photo suggests more raised/curved keys.
The LG Optimus F3Q will have a 4” WVGA display with a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, a 2,460mAh battery, a 5MP rear-facing camera, and will run on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, though obviously Android 4.4.2 KitKat would be more ideal. Anyway, QWERTY keyboards are apparently making a comeback. If that is your thing, this one from LG looks decent.
