We know that when a device arrives at the FCC and earns approval, we can expect the release of the device very soon. Take Lenovo for instance. The company has two new tablets that have been approved from the folks over at the FCC.
The Lenovo A7600 as well as the Lenovo A5500 have been approved for use in China as well. Not just the U.S. Lets look at the first tablet. The Lenovo A5500 comes with an 8” IPS display that carries 800 x 1280 pixels, a quad-core 1.3GHz MediaTek processor, Dolby Mobile sound, an 8MP camera in the back, and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean is the operating system.
Now for the secenond tablet in this duo. The Lenovo A7600 looks like it has a similar screen size, although the higher model number points to a higher pixel resolution, and this one runs on Android as well. Both models are Wi-Fi-only, while the ones that China approved come with 3G cellular connectivity and the ability to make voice calls. When we learn more about this pair we will let you know. Right now we do know that they are coming anytime now.
