We only have two weeks before Far Cry 4 will be released for gaming consoles and the PC. Those who prefer to play the game on the PC would no doubt like to know what requirements you need before Far Cry 4 can be played on the PC.
Well, we have some good news on that front. The entire list of Far Cry 4 requirements for PC has been revealed thanks to NVIDIA. These include the minimum and recommended specifications, so PC gamers need to pay attention.
Gamers should have a rig that’s powered by a 2.6GHz Intel Core i5-750 or 3.2GHz AMD Phenom II X4 955 processor at the very least, aided by 4GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeFore GTX 460 or AMD Radeon HD5850 graphics card. Minimum requirements also include 30GB of available hard drive space, DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card, DirectX version 11 and Windows 7 SP1 or 64-bit Windows 8/8.1.
The recommended requirements are a 2.5GHz Intel Core i5-2400S or 4.0GHz AMD FX-8350 processor or better, with at least 8GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 or AMD Radeon R9 290X graphics card or better. Far Cry 4 will be released for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and the PC on November 18th. Hopefully your PC is up to the task. If not you have some time to upgrade some parts.
