Bethesda started teasing the launch of a new Fallout title earlier this week and the publisher has since officially confirmed that the new game is going to be called Fallout 76. No further details are available at this point as Bethesda will be providing them during its E3 2018 press event. The good news is that you can now pre-order Fallout 76 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC from Amazon.
Fallout 76 is a new title that is going to explore events hundreds of years before Fallout 4 which Bethesda released back in 2015. It will explore the Wasteland from a new perspective.
Previous titles have been single-player RPG experiences but if a new report is to be believed, Fallout 76 might be an online survival RPG inspired by titles like Rust and DayZ. The game is still expected to feature a story and quests but it will have additional mechanics like base building. None of this has been officially confirmed. For more news, we have to wait for more information about Fallout 76 on June 10th at its E3 2018 event.
The pre-order listing for the title is now live on Amazon. It is 59.99 and while the listing mentions a release date of December 31st, 2019, it’s most likely a placeholder since Bethesda is expected to release Fallout 76 later this year. I can’t wait.
