Fans of the Fallout franchise will be happy to learn that Bethesda has officially released Fallout 4 VR. This is basically Fallout 4 but playable in virtual reality.
As you likely know by now, Fallout 4 VR was officially announced earlier this year and was set for a release on December 12th, 2017, so it has arrived right on schedule.
Fans who are interested can pick it up. It also looks like if you purchase a HTC Vive headset, you will be able to get a copy of the game for free too. That’s great incentive to get a VR headset if you have not already. Fallout 4 VR is currently exclusive to the HTC Vive, unlike some of Bethesda’s other VR titles like DOOM VFR which is also available on the PlayStation VR, and Skyrim VR which will be playable on the PlayStation VR, with the HTC Vive version is expected to arrive in 2018.
For the most part aside from the perspective, Fallout 4 VR should be pretty much the same game that you know. However the new perspective could make it feel like a brand new game, which could be very cool. It’s worth checking out if you are a fan of the series.
