Bethesda has announced that the Fallout 4 1.5 update is now available for download via Steam. This will bring the Survival Mode out of beta for PC gamers. If you are on consoles, you don’t need to worry since you will not be waiting too long for this mode.
That is because Bethesda has confirmed that the Fallout 4 Survival Mode for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is going to arrive next week, so your wait is almost over.
The new version of Survival Mode, Fallout 4’s highest difficulty setting, is the biggest feature in this update. It was launched as a beta last month, allowing beta testers to try out the new version, which includes limits on fast travel among other challenges and obstacles. If you want a challenge this is the mode you want to try.
Fallout 4’s latest update also comes with some bug fixes, and sets the stage for the upcoming Far Harbor expansion, the DLC is going to be released for PC and console gamers later this spring. We don’t have a precise date yet. Bethesda has confirmed today that this update is going to land on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next week. Fallout 4 mods will also be arriving on consoles starting next month, the tools go live for Xbox One next month and for PlayStation 4 in June. Fallout fans should be happy.
