If you get social from your Blackberry, you might want to check out the new Facebook update that RIM just added to the Beta Zone. The new update is version 3.2.0.5. It offers a few new features and enhancements, but oddly these mostly have to do with friend’s birthdays.
Some of the new features include the ability to link all Facebook friends’ birthdays to your BlackBerry Calendar. Also, previously integrated birthdays in the calendar are removed when birthday integration settings are changed. You can select which friends’ birthdays appear in the device calendar. And lastly, you can see friends birthdays in chronological order from the current date.
According to RIM, another update will be coming soon that will allow you to access Facebook Events from your BlackBerry as well as update the icons in the Navigation Grid.
