If you thought that Naughty Dog was finished developing additional DLCs for The Last Of Us, think again. The game was a huge hit and was very well received by gamers, so no, they are not done yet. Many gamers are awaiting its launch on the PlayStation 4 right now.
The developer had already confirmed that new DLCs will be released, but no details were given. However, it has now been confirmed that the downloadable content packs will be multiplayer focused and will “definitely not” include any new chapters for the campaign. In other words they won’t extend the story.
For $50 The Last Of Us Remastered for the PlayStation 4 will have the game and all of the available DLCs. Players have to buy the DLCs on the PS3. Naughty Dog will also continue to support the game on the PS3. Community strategist Arne Meyer confirmed that they have DLCs planned that will be released throughout the year. So you should be pretty busy with all of that extra stuff. We still don’t have any major details about the upcoming DLCs, but we know that all future DLC packs for The Last Of Us will be available as Cross-Buy purchases, so those who upgrade will continue to have access to the same content. I’m looking forward to these DLCs myself.
