Evernote is one of the best productivity application available at the moment, with support for almost every platform available.
Recently, the Evernote Beta application for Android got some nice features on board, including the handwriting support that allows users to take notes in a traditional manner, something which we used to do with a pen or paper.
The handwritten note will stay as it is, and will not be converted into smart looking text within the application. The new feature works if you have a style or you can also use your finger to type in anything in the application. Do note that it’s not perfect, and the Evernote team has also added a few other features for testing purposes to the application as well.
Here’s a complete change log of the Evernote beta:
- Handwritten note: select the pen button on the note editor to insert an handwriting in a note. You can select different width and colors, erase, cut and undo / redo.
- Note link: long tap a note in a list and select “copy note link”. This will create an hyperlink that you can paste in a different note or in a browser.
Before you start searching the Google Play Store, you should know the Evernote Beta is available for users who are in the Evernote Beta community, so if you want to give it a try, you must head over to the Evernote Beta group on Google+ and ask them politely that you want to join the community.
