Epson has launched a new slider tablet/notebook device in Japan this month in the form of the new Epson Endeavor S, which has been built to run Microsoft’s latest Windows 8 operating system.
The new Epson Endeavor S is equipped with a 1920 x 1080 pixel multitouch display which can be slid over the keyboard to create a tablet style device or tilt to offer the full QWERTY keyboard for long typing sessions.
The Epson Endeavor S is powered by a Intel Core i7 processor supported by 8GB of RAM, and offers a speedy 128GB solid state disk (SSD) for storage. The notebook.tablet slider weighs in at around 2.6 lbs and is equipped with a rechargeable battery capable of offering 6 hours of continuous use.
Unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet, however in Japan the Epson Endeavor S NY10S is selling for around $1200.
