Dropbox has published a new Experimental Build 2.3.12 of its cloud Storage software which shows us a glimpse at what we can expect to see arriving systems in the near future.
New features included in the Dropbox Experimental Build 2.3.12 include the ability to import photos directly from iPhoto, together with much faster upload/download speeds for large files.
The Dropbox import from iPhoto features is only supported on Mac systems running iPhoto 7.0 or higher. The new facility will now display as a notification in your tray menu, if you have photos already in your iPhoto library.
The new feature will also automatically creator your iPhoto albums and events as Dropbox albums, which are viewable on the web.
If you are interested in having a play with the new Dropbox Experimental Build 2.3.12 it is now available to download from the Dropbox forums, for Windows, Mac and Linux. Enjoy!
