If you wanted more proof that it was coming, an actual photo of what’s said to be the Droid Ultra XT1080 has surfaced on the XDA Developers forum.
We already know that an FCC filing and the rumors that go along with it have the XT1080 as a Maxx variant with a better battery. Also the picture corroborates the kevlar enclosure and the three capacitive buttons shown in a press shot posted by @evleaks a few days back. It also sports the new Motorola logo in the top corner.
The device has radios for Verizon-friendly LTE, EV-DO Rev. A and WCDMA (850/900/1900/2100), as well as NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi 802.11ac. We still don’t have the specs, but it won’t be long now until we get the full details on this device.
