Sadly, PlayStation 4 owners have had to wait for Driveclub for over a year. The game was delayed in November of 2013 and then when the game did launch there were tons of problems. Many of the features rely on online access since multiplayer is pretty much what this title is all about. So since launch Driveclub owners have had to put up with many issues. Like simply trying to connect to online servers. Problems that really should have been fixed long ago.
Developer Evolution Studio now says that these issues have been fixed for the “majority” of the people that are playing Driveclub. That’s great news as long as you are actually in that majority. Otherwise you are likely still pretty mad.
Evolution Studios says that it is still improving server performance but the majority of the players should now be able to connect and play online without any hassles. They also promised that more server updates and upgrades will come online over the next few days so that the online connectivity issues can be fixed once and for all. Then when more players are online they can take part in multiplayer races, face-offs and more. It’s been a long road, but you may enjoy this game yet.
