Nintendo is busy adding more titles to it’s hugely popular Nintendo Switch. The gamelibrary is getting bigger all of the time. And now Square Enix’s Minecraft-style construction game Dragon Quest Builders is coming to Nintendo Switch on February 9 of next year.
That isn’t too far away so we don’t have much of a wait, which I’m sure that fans will love. The game was released last year on PS4, PS3 and Vita.
In the game players gather materials, reconstruct towns and fight monsters through a sprawling RPG. It’s all very Minecraft-like, but the difference is that it offers more structured gameplay with a proper storyline. It is up to you to restore the world of Alefgard.
Obviously you can play on the go, which is one of the main draws of the Switch, but this version also offers some exclusive experiences and items, including the ability to gather rare crafting materials for a wider range of customization options. If that isn’t enough, the sequel, Dragon Quest Builders 2, will add co-op play. Right now we don’t have an official release date, but hopefully that news will arrive soon. February will be here before you know it and then you can play this game on the Switch.
