The other day Sony officially announced the 1TB PlayStation 4. This was great news for gamers who need more storage in their consoles. For many people the 500GB PS4 model is’t big enough. Especially if you buy a ton of games. The announcement was made on Sony’s EU PlayStation blog, but there was no mention as to whether it would arrive in the states.
The bad news for gamers in the US is that we will be missing out on this console. At least for now. When asked by Game Informer as to whether the 1TB model would arrive in North American markets, a Sony representative was quoted as saying, “We have no plans to announce at this time.” Sadness. Really? Nothing for the US?
This is disappointing, that’s for sure. We doubt that Sony would skip over North America entirely. That makes no sense. We will likely be getting it down the road. We will be keeping an eye out for additional details and when we know, you will know. They might be waiting to release it in a special bundle or maybe over the Christmas holiday, which is a ways off. We will just have to wait and see what happens.
