Domino’s has embraced modern technology to provide its customers with a variety of ways to order pizzas. And that is great for all of us pizza lovers. The company is now embracing bots on Facebook Messenger to allow customers to order a pizza via Messenger.
Domino’s Facebook Messenger bot allows for “conversational” ordering, and that means that the bot is going to respond to your questions as it takes your order. Pretty cool.
If you have an existing Pizza Profile you can reorder the pie you most recently ordered too. Customers can also configure the Easy Order option through an online account. Just start by clicking on the message button on the chain’s Facebook page or by searching for “Domino’s” in Messenger.
“Messenger allows customers to order conversationally with the help of Domino’s bot. We hope this new option will continue to make ordering as simple and as convenient as possible,” according to Dennis Maloney, chief digital officer at Domino’s. This option is already available to customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland, but now it’s finally opening it up for users in the United States. Just use a pizza emoji to tell the bot that you need a pie and it will track the order within Messenger.
