Streaming services can be limited in terms of which countries they are available in. For example, Hulu is still not available in many parts of the world, leaving some users frustrated and turning to piracy in order to watch certain shows. Well, it looks like Disney is working to prevent that from happening to them with some preemptive planning.
Disney Plus will be going live on the 12th of November. It will be initially available in the US, Canada, the Netherlands, Australia, and New Zealand, but you might be asking yourself when will it hit other markets? The good news is that if you live in the UK and Europe, you will only need to wait a few more months before you get it as well.
Disney has announced that on the 31st of March, 2020, Disney Plus will be available in the UK, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, and Ireland. But, Disney does caution that in terms of the availability of titles, this will vary from region to region, so don’t expect to have the same catalog as those in the US.
As for the rest of the world? For that, we will need to wait to hear from Disney about their next moves.
