Disney+ will be launching in November for $7 a month. This is cheaper than other streaming services like Netflix, plus it will allow four simultaneous streams at 4K, which is a feature that Netflix subscribers have to pay $16 for. However, if you’re looking to save yourself some money, there is a way.
During the D23 Expo, Disney announced that all D23 members will be eligible to receive a 33% discount on their Disney+ subscription. This will apply to all members, so if you’re a D23 General member (which is free), you’ll still be able to take advantage of it. Sounds cool huh?
This offer is only valid until the September 2nd though, so if you want to get the discount, just log into your D23 account and you should be able to see the redemption option. However, this will require you to sign up and commit to a 3-year Disney+ subscription. Right now, no one knows how good (or bad) Disney+ is, so this is a bit of a risk.
This discount means that you’ll be saving yourself about $33 a year, so that is nearly $100 in savings during that 3-year period. That’s not a bad deal. Not a bad deal at all.
