After decades of innovative and amazing game titles, it looks like Disney is pulling the plug on LucasArts. The studio says that it has decided to shift LucasArts from a development model to a licensing model. LucasArts will no longer be developing games internally.
This move has resulted in an unknown number of layoffs across the organization. And an unknoen number of geeks that now wear sad faces. Disney also confirmed that development of Star Wars 1313 is no longer under LucasArts, the future of this title seems uncertain at the moment.
LucasArts is known for Star Wars titles as well as other classic video games like Grim Fandango and The Secret of Monkey Island.
