It looks like games made for Sony’s upcoming PlayStation 4 will have native Full HD 1080p support, and that is just fine with us. The latest news of a 1080p game for the console is Blizzard’s Diablo 3 which will be arriving on the PlayStation 4 console in 2014. I am looking forward to this one.
This news was confirmed by Blizzard at BlizzCon 2013, where the game’s director, Josh Mosqueira revealed it to everyone. Reaper of Souls will run at 1080p Full HD resolution at 60fps. Mosqueira also confirmed that those of us who have the PlayStation 3 version of the game will be able to transfer their characters and progress from the PS3 console onto the PS4 console.
However he did not confirm or specify if we will get a discount if we get Diablo 3 for the PS4, having already bought the game for the PS3. He said that they were still figuring out how they might distribute the Reaper of Souls expansion for the PlayStation 4 console. Well, since I already paid for the game once, I would love to get it for free, but somehow I doubt that will happen. We will have to wait and see.
