Fans of the Devil May Cry franchise have been waiting for a new game for a long time now. So naturally, they were delighted when Capcom officially announced Devil May Cry 5 at E3 2018. It’s said to be a true follow-up to Devil May Cry 4 which was released over a decade ago back in 2008. It’s going to be different than the spin-offs since it will pick up where the previous game left off when it’s released next year. Fans can’t wait.
Capcom confirmed during the announcement that the Devil May Cry 5 release is going to happen in spring of 2019 and that the title is going to be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
It did offer a more specific release timeline in a report for investors though, where Capcom mentions that Devil May Cry 5 is going to be released before the end of March 2019. So Capcom wants to release the title within the ongoing fiscal year which may boost its numbers. That should not be a problem since fans are more than ready. At least now we have a good timeframe for when we can expect this game.
We will give you more info as soon as we get it.
