Today Dell have confirmed that their new Dell Streak 10 Pro Android based tablet will be arriving in China during the Summer. Dell has also said that they will “evaluate other regions and segments in the second half of 2011.”
The 12mm thick Dell Streak 10 Pro tablet will run Android Honeycomb-standard powered by a dual core 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, its 10 inch multi-touch screen has a resolution of 1280 x 800 resolution screen, an edge-to-edge glass surface, two cameras, an SD card slot.
Why China? Dell explains in their blog post:
“Well it’s simple. The next one billion people to come onto the Internet will be from emerging countries, with the majority from the so-called BRIC countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China). These countries present tremendous growth and opportunity to Dell as a company.”
