Fans have been waiting for the Dark Souls games, any Dark Souls games to hit Nintendo consoles for a while now. Well, it looks like these fans may be in luck, because a remastered version of Dark Souls is heading to the Nintendo Switch at long last, while also arriving on the rest of the usual consoles like PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on May 25th.
Now Nintendo Switch users can experience the game that the rest of have already enjoyed many many hours of. The remastered version has some general performance tweaks and aside from that, the game will include the Artorias of the Abyss DLC as well.
Dark Souls, is referred to as a spiritual successor to Demon’s Souls, first launched in 2011. You will battle monsters, experience very very hard combat, and die quite a bit, but it’s all par for the course. The latest game in the series is Dark Souls 3, launched for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC back in 2016. Hopefully the switch will get other Dark Souls games in the future too.
Dark Souls: Remastered is the first time the series has come to any Nintendo Platform. Get ready for a very fun game Nintendo fans.
