We first featured the Cloak Bag for DSLR cameras back in February of last year, and the developers of this unique camera bag have just launched a new version, the Cloak Bag 2.0.
The Cloak Bag has been developed by Naranja Studio, and the Cloak Bag 2.0 has been developed over the last year, and comes with a number of design improvements over the original version which are designed to make it more user friendly.
The Cloak™ Bag is composed of a water-resistant cotton blend that offers high durability and low moisture absorption. The camera is joined to the bag through two mechanisms: the first is the included neck strap, lined with button snaps that connect to the inside of the bag; the second is a a slotted screw that enters through a quick-release track in the bag’s base and screws into the camera’s tripod mount. Together they hold the camera securely within the bag while allowing the bag to be quickly removed if needed. Zippers line the bag’s edges that can provide the lens the opening needed to allow photos to be taken within it. The viewfinder and camera controls are accessible by flipping the top flap open.
You can find out more information about the Cloak Bag 2.0 over at Cloak, and the Cloak Bag 2.0 is now available for $69.
