Cherrypal has added a new netbook to their range, which will cost just $99, the Cherrypal Africa Netbook, which is named after Cherrypal’s recent community building initiative in Ghana.
The Cherrypal Africa Netbook features a 7 inch LCD display with a resolution of 800 x 480, and is powered by a 400MHz processor, memory comes in the form of 256MB and there is 2GB of flash storage.

The Cherrypal Africa comes with either Linux or Windows Ce, and according to Cherrypal the built in Lithium battery will give you up to four hours of usage.
Other specifications include built in 802.11 b/g Wifi, Ethernet, and 86 key QWERT keyboard, one USB 2.0 port and one USB 1.1 port, there is also an SD/MMC card slot and built in speakers.
The Cherrypal Africa Netbook is now available to order for just $99 from Cherrypal.
