Canon has this week unveiled a rather unique camcorder that has been added to its range of devices in the form of the Canon Vixia Mini which is equipped with both a flip out screen and HD webcam.
Th new Canon Vixia Mini compact personal camcorder features an ultra wide-angle Canon f/2.8 fisheye lens allowing a little more creativity to be added to your footage.
While in Close-up Mode, users can record a centred 1920 x 1440 resolution image with little distortion. They can also quickly toggle from one shooting mode to the other, or switch back and forth between video and image mode using the integrated 2.7-inch capacitive-tilt touch panel LCD display. The Canon Vixia Mini records footage in MP4 format and saves the results to a microSD card, allowing you to easily transfer the footage to other devices when required and is capable of capturing both stills and full HD video using its 12.8 megapixel high-sensitivity CMOS image sensor.
The new Canon Vixia Mini compact personal camcorder will be arriving in stores during September and will be priced at around £269, €329 or $299.
