Players are not happy with the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered DLC price that Activision has set. Most think it’s just too high for what they’re getting with the downloadable content pack.
The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered DLC is called the Variety Map Pack. It was released for the PlayStation 4 last month. This DLC includes four upgraded maps and 10 Rare Supply Drops. The problem? The supply drops cost $20.
The Variety Map Pack has been released for Xbox One and PC as well. The value addition for this $15 DLC is said to be the $20 supply drops which are coupled with the four upgraded maps. The problem is that the player community doesn’t agree. Judging by the comments on Activision’s own DLC announcement post on its blog as well as on Reddit, it’s very clear that the players are not happy with what Activision is offering them in the DLC that costs $15.
One problem is that normally a remastered title includes all of the DLC released since the game was released. That’s one of the big reasons why many are viewing this as a cash grab by Activision. Nocomment from Activision yet, but we will keep an eye on this for you.
