Activision’s next Call of Duty title will be called Modern Warfare and it will support cross-platform, so gamers can play with other gamers on other platforms, like the PC, PS4, and the Xbox One. But when will the feature be launched?
If crossplay is a feature that you’ve been eagerly waiting for, you’ll be pleased to learn that Activision has confirmed that Modern Warfare will support crossplay at lauch. This means that gamers won’t need to wait for a patch or an update that will enable the feature. It will start with it.
With most games, crossplay support is added after the game has launched. But, as more games are starting to add crossplay support, this is a trend that will continue. However, there might be some who might not appreciate crossplay support.
Some gamers feel that console gamers playing against PC gamers is unfair since PC gamers get to play with a keyboard and mouse, as these arguably offer better controls. We’ll have to wait and see how gamers like the feature. Modern Warfare is set for a release on the 25th of October. That’s when you can go up against anybody on any platform. Good luck out there.
