The Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare multiplayer beta is now live. The next game in this popular franchise will be released very soon and the beta will let players get a taste of the multiplayer action ahead of the game’s official release. There’s only one problem with it: The multiplayer beta isn’t open to just anyone with a PlayStation 4.
PlayStation 4 owners who have pre-ordered the game will get access to the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare multiplayer beta, but not others. And the pre-orders need to be placed at participating stores in order to get access to the beta.
Those who are eligible are in for a fun time. The beta will give you access to three games modes – Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, and Domination. You’ll also get half of the game’s Combat Rigs, which modify a player’s abilities. PlayStation 4 gets exclusivity on the multiplayer beta for the first weekend. It will last until October 17th at 1PM Eastern. Xbox One owners will need to wait until the second weekend to get in on the beta. It will be live from October 21st through October 24th.
The game itself will be released for these consoles as well as PC on November 5th, 2016. We don’t have long to go now.
