Much to the dismay of PS4 users, there is an arrangement between Activision and Microsoft, which makes Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare DLCs arrive on the Xbox first as a timed exclusive before they get release dates for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC. It happens and gamers have learned to live with it.
The second DLC for the game, called Ascendance, was released on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 on March 31st as a timed exclusive. Well, now Activision has confirmed when it will be released for the PC and PlayStation crowd.
The Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Ascendance DLC will give you four new multiplayer maps for the title, also a new episode that’s all about zombies, called Infection, which features a star studded cast that includes the likes of John Malkovich, Rose McGowan, Bill Paxton and Jon Bernthal to name a few. The DLC costs $14.99 to download and it’s included in the $49.99 season pass for Advanced Warfare.
The timed exclusive for Xbox One and Xbox 360 will last for about a month before the DLC hits other platforms.
Those playing on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 or the PC will be able to get their hands on the Ascendance DLC on Wednesday, April 30th. That’s not a terrible wait.
