Call of Duty fans will like this news. Sledgehammer Games, the folks behind Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, have announced a new game mode. The team-based mode is called One Shot and it features the Mors Railgun Sniper. It was part of the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Double XP weekend this past weekend.
The game was released a few weeks ago, to the delight of hardcore Call of Duty fans and those same fans are still busy shooting each other on a daily basis. The game is set in the future and the story is built around a private military contractor who has gone rogue. The latest data shows that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare was the best-selling retail game of 2014 in the country. Not bad, but COD games always sell well.
Anyway, the game mode is called One Shot and is a new snipers-only game mode with decreased health and specific classes. All classes feature the Mors railgun sniper, along with several perks, Scorestreaks and Exo abilities. The One Shot mode is time-sensitive though. It went live over the weekend and will remain accessible during the Double XP event until 9 am on 12/29. Play it while you can. You don’t want to miss it.
