Ordering a Whopper may soon get easier as far as payment goes. Burger King has a mobile app coming next month that will support a mobile payment platform that will cover 7000 locations in the U.S. Burger King already has an e-wallet type mobile payment system which the new app will enhance. Very soon, Burger King could add the ability for users to order meals via the app for later pick up.
According to B.K. spokesman Bryson Thornton, the app, developed by Tillster Inc, will roll out to more locations starting next month. The app will have coupons for customers that show up whenever a user adds money or “recharges” the credit card associated with the app. Aside from that, Burger King will post nutritional information from its menu inside the app. At the moment, it is limited to iOS devices and also features an interactive map.
Right now, the app is supported at Burger King locations in Sacramento, Reno, Baltimore and New York City. They will add the 7000 locations next month. Now you can really “have it your way”. You can pick up the Burger King app for free from the App Store and iTunes.
