Sprint has announced that it will have the Google Nexus 5 available starting November 8th and that the device will cost $149.99 on a new 2-year contract with the carrier. That is great news if you have been wanting the device. What they did not say is whether or not the Nexus 5 would be sold by any third party retailers. Well, now a leaked document from Best Buy confirms that it will be carrying the Sprint Nexus 5, so we know that much.
The document shows that Best Buy will be offering the Sprint Nexus 5 on the same day it is released in Sprint stores, which is November 8th. The Nexus 5 will sell for the same price as from Sprint itself: $149.99. Apparently Best Buy has ended its deal to sell postpaid T-Mobile devices, so don’t expect the T-Mobile release from a Best Buy. But if you are interested, the T-Mobile release of the Nexus 5 is rumored for November 20th.
Interestingly, the leak also mentions a mandatory training session for Best Buy mobile on November 16th. We aren’t sure what that is all about yet, but when we learn something we will pass it on to our readers. They can’t keep it a secret for long.
