Nintendo’s Smash Bros. franchise features characters from other games that are playable on the company’s consoles, so it was a surprise when Nintendo announced that Joker from Persona 5 would be a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It also seemed to suggest that Persona 5 could be coming to the Switch soon.
And now an image online shows an alleged Best Buy terminal that shows that Persona 5 is indeed coming to the Switch console. Great news for fans if this is true. This is not a confirmation, but it does seem to line up with other rumors and speculation. Hopefully, it is true.
The terminal screenshot also revealed that other games like Metroid Prime Trilogy could also be coming to the Switch, along with The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. We do know that The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening has been announced for the Switch, but A Link to the Past is new to us.
We also heard that a new Metroid Prime game is being developed for the console, but a release of the previous three games would please many fans. We don’t know when they might be announced, but E3 2019 is coming soon so Nintendo could be making an announcement very soon.
