Coming right after YouTube’s launch of 60 new original content channels, the BBC has now announced that it will be partnering with YouTube to present two of those channels. Great news for BBC fans.
The BBC will introduce a nature channel, with content coming from the BBC Earth Productions unit, and a science channel featuring Top Gear presenter James May “and his crack team of scientists.” The new channels will arrive in 2013, and the BBC has also redesigned its six current YouTube stations and added new clips from Top Gear season 18 as well as other original programs. Sounds pretty good to us.
The beeb also has just launched a refreshed iPlayer. You can’t say they haven’t been busy.
