If you thought that the 8GB install for Grand Theft Auto 5 was a lot, EA has followed suit. They will give Xbox 360 players the option to install 14GB of data onto their hard drives when the Battlefield 4 arrives.
When Xbox 360 owners buy Battlefield 4 later this month, they will have a mandatory 2GB install. However, DICE recommends that players install 14GB of data onto their already crowded hard drives to improve their experience on the Xbox 360. If you didn’t already know, Battlefield 4 comes in two discs. These discs separate the multiplayer and single-player areas of the game.
The multiplayer disc has an extra 6.6GB of content, while the single-player disc has 5.8GB of installation content. DICE is recommending Battlefield 4 players install all of it onto their Xbox 360 hard drive to “make sure you have the best experience possible.” Although I’m not sure is a crammed hard drive will hamper that experience and cause problems, I do know that we are all short on space. I guess we will be onto the new consoles soon enough anyway.
