Batman Arkham Knight Sells Over Five Million Copies

Batman Arkham Knight is a popular game with great reviews upon launch, even if the PC version has had a ton of issues from the start. Warner Bros. had to suspend sales of the title on PC. But even that didn’t stop this title from selling more than five million copies across the globe. Not bad at all for a title like this that has PC problems.

Warner Bros. has not officially confirmed these figures but the Wall Street Journal reports that the publisher’s gaming division is performing admirably. Arkham Knight sold over five million copies along with Mortal Kombat X, a title also published by Warner Bros. Both both games were released earlier this year. Then Lego Jurassic World is said to have sold 4 million copies as well. WB has to be loving this.

WB doesn’t reveal sales data often, so we don’t know if the publisher will confirm these figures for Arkham Knight and Mortal Kombat X. We also don’t know if the figures represent actual sales or shipped copies. Either way this is impressive.

The publisher has still not resumed sales of Batman Arkham Knight for the PC sadly. It has been working on making the PC version better over the past couple of months and is expected to start selling the title again by the end of this month. I wonder how many it will sell on PC when that happens.
