The first DLC pack for Batman: Arkham Knight is going to be released for those on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later this week. This title has also been released for PC, but since launch it has had several issues. They are working on fixing those issues and fixing the PC port of the game, but it is taking time. It has now been confirmed that the first DLC for PC will be delayed, which stinks for PC users.
And since it makes no sense to release paid DLC for a title that’s not being sold right now, Warner Bros. has suspended sales of Arkham Knight for PC. They did this just after the issues were reported.
Some reports say that these issues were actually known to Warner Bros. before the launch of this title on PC. If that is true, they have only themselves to blame. In an entry on the official Arkham Knight support forums Warner Bros. says that addressing PC performance issues is its “top priority” and that work is being done to come up with some fixes. They will give us an update on the progress next week and let us know where they stand.
The first DLC will not be released for PC players on July 14th.
